cut all plants to the ground, mulch with seaweed (if available) or manure


Kitchen Garden:

Rotation 1 – sow broad beans
Rotation 2 – sow salad onions
Rotation 3 – 
Rotation 4 – sow broad beans
Rotation 5 – sow spring onions
Rotation 6 – 


Vegie Garden and Kitchen Garden:

- Check brassica for cabbage white butterflies, spray with Dipel if necessary.
- Prepare onion beds for June

- Non-rotation beds –
sow spinach
- Harvest:
Brussel Sprouts, Green sprouting broccoli, large savoy cabbages, large red cabbages, Chinese cabbage, cauliflower, kohlrabi, kale, swede, carrots, tomatoes, celery, leek, salad onions, corn salad, lettuce, Asian greens, mustard, spinach


Orchards:

- pick Andre Sauvage, Huon Crab, Upton Pyne
- start picking Belle de Boskoop, Braeburn, Calville Blanc D’Hiver, Ida Red, 
Jonagold, Prinzenapfel, Reinette d’Oree, Wellington, Pear Beurre Bosc
- plant new strawberries
- transplant raspberry plants 3rd week of May
- continue mulching all beds


Greenhouse:
- transplant seedlings into pots
- sow spinach, lettuces & Asian greens mixtures, then later separate seedlings & keep in large pots
