Zucchini 

Sow in greenhouse in September, plant out end of October to early November, also sow directly in garden in October to November. Harvest December to April.

Sow zucchini 90 cm apart, thin out gradually to one plant each. 15ºC needed for germination. Zucchinis are usually easy to grow with a large yield. 

Preserving:
Wash, cut into thick slices, water blanche or steam blanche for 3 minutes, cool quickly and freeze.
