Squash 

Companion planting:
Likes: corn, marjoram, nasturtiums, peas, sunflowers

Sow in greenhouse in September, plant out end of October to early November, also sow directly in garden in October to early November. Harvest January to April.

Sow squash 90 cm apart, thin out gradually to one plant each. Squash are usually easy to grow with a large yield.

Pattison Panache Jaune et Verte (The Lost Seed)

Preserving:
Wash, cut into cubes, water blanche or steam blanche for 3 minutes, cool quickly and freeze.
