Silverbeet 

Sow January to February, September to October, harvest all year by picking individual leaves. Sow directly wherever there is space in the garden beds.

Sow in greenhouse in February and March to plant out in garden in March and April when space becomes available after harvesting.

Use silverbeet cooked or, mainly the young leaves, in salads.
