Eggplants are very cold-sensitive. Sow eggplant in greenhouse in September, then plant out after 8 to 9 weeks and after temperature is not expected to be under 10°C . We now keep all eggplants in large pots in the greenhouse and get a much larger harvest than before. Harvest late February to May, longer periods when grown in greenhouse.
